Special Presentation:: Brian Douglas presents the JAMStack: build your civic projects faster, lighter and easier

Join us for a special presentation from Brian Douglas on the JAMStack. JAMStack refers to a modern web development architecture for building sites on client side Javascript, APIs and prebuilt markup. Brian is the host of JAMStack Radio and is the Lead Developer Advocate for Netlify, a company that automates the pain away of managing static site deployments. Brian will show us why the JAMStack is becoming an architecture of choice for all sorts of projects and how it can be applied in building fast, scalable civic-impact projects.

About Brian Douglas

Brian is a Web Developer at Netlify and the host of the JAMstack Radio podcast. He focuses his day to day work on React and JavaScript development. He previously had a career in sales before turning to his true love, coding. After quickly honing his engineering skills he has since worked as both engineer and mentor to others also looking to make a similar career change.
