Weekly Civic Hack Night

Interested in helping San Francisco? Excellent!

We're building some real momentum after the National Day of Civic Hacking. Lots going on, but some specific projects could use extra hands:

LocalFreeWeb helps folks with ZERO web access to get online. We're going to be beta-testing... guerilla style! Can you help with community outreach and poster distribution? No coding necessary.

Bicycle Newbie is working to improve the bicycle experience in San Francisco by connecting new bicyclists with experienced riders. Can you help with competitive analysis and user research. No coding necessary.

Now... we still need coders and designers! UX? Yes! D3.js? Yes! R, Python, or research statistics? Yes!

Whether or not you know how to code, you can help!

Join our weekly hack (hacking = building) night focused on open government and civic tech in San Francisco.

• Contribute to the betterment of San Francisco

• Build your own portfolio of work or work on someone else's cool project

• Meet new (and different!) people
